Decision Time: Netflix

So Netflix is going up in price. Currently I have streaming and DVDs for $9.99. That deal is going to become $15.98 in September. I can choose between just streaming or 1 DVD out at a time for $7.99 (or 2 DVDs for $11.99).

So do I stay with my plan and pay the extra $6? or save $2 a month by going with which ever side of the service that I use more?

And which side do I go with: Streaming or DVDs?

I probably spend more time watching the streaming but I don’t want to wait for new releases. I mean I’m currently trying to watch TrueBlood and it’s on DVD but not on streaming.

Let’s look at my queue:
47 DVDs Q, 0 of them are on Instant
59 on Instant Q, 59 of them can be gotten on DVD. (And honestly they’ve been there for a while and I’m not sure why I haven’t watched them yet. I’m way more likely to watch them if I have the DVD and need to send it back.)

What about Hulu Plus?
It’s $7.99 as well and the Streaming stuff is newer.

I don’t know what I’m going to do but writing this is helpful.
